Hi There.

My name is Tamara. I am a yoga teacher, sound practitioner, and retreat facilitator – and always a student of sorts. I'm out here exploring this life as boldly as possible, with all my senses, and I want to invite and encourage others to do the same.

Staying connected to nature and embracing a slower pace of life have become guiding threads in this journey. I believe nature offers a space to rest, reconnect, and honour what is alive in us right now — a space for presence, curiosity, and mindful exploration.

Arrive.

Yoga can be your space to slow down, to listen inward, and to meet yourself with presence. Everything is welcome – the ease and the tension, the clarity and the questions. Nothing needs to be fixed – everything belongs. Through mindful movement, breath, sound, and stillness, I guide you into a deeper connection with your body and your inner experience.

For me, yoga extends beyond the mat. It is a way of being present with what is – and engaging with life from a place of awareness and openness. In its essence, yoga means unity, and I see it as both an individual and a collective practice of connection. A practice that does not end when we step off the mat, but continues in how we relate, move, and listen.

My personal path has led me through Hatha, Ashtanga, and Yin Yoga, as well as somatic practices, breathwork, sound, and embodied exploration. Alongside this, my training in systemic coaching with a focus on stress management and resilience has deepened my understanding of how we navigate stress, cultivate resilience, and create space for genuine rest. All of this informs the way I teach today.

My classes combine traditional alignment principles with an embodied approach, supported by breath, sound, and meditation. They are less about performance and more about creating space for awareness, curiosity, and authentic experience.

What's alive right now.

For the past years, Hamburg has been home and the place where I have been teaching regular studio classes.

As I am entering a new season, I find myself drawn to exploring new ideas and possibilities. I am especially curious about the ways yoga, sound and nature can complement and enrich one another.

I always enjoy connecting with fellow teachers, studios, students and communities, and I look forward to seeing where this path may lead.

A woman with curly black hair, tattoos, and wearing a black top is lying upside down in the hollow of a large tree with thick, gnarled branches and a greenish bark. She is outdoors in a wooded area with leaf-covered ground and some green plants.

I am passionately curious about many things — mountains, books, flower buds, evening skies, pain au chocolat, and all the little moments that remind me to slow down and pay attention.

Spending time in nature has become an essential part of my life and an endless source of wonder and perspective. Hiking, travelling, and simply being outdoors continue to teach me as much as any yoga training.

Beyond the mat.

Lately, I have been drawn to Kirtan and the joy of singing in community. It has opened a new door for me — one that invites me to use my voice more freely and explore music as a practice of connection. Learning to play the harmonium is high on my list of curiosities.

Much of what inspires my work grows from these explorations: movement, sound, stillness, community, and the simple practice of being present with life.
